Who would have thought that ordinary lawn daisies (also known as bruisewort) could be so valuable to our health and wellness?
Traditionally, Daisy leaves and flowers have been used for wounds after surgery, bronchitis and other inflammatory conditions of the upper respiratory tract, loss of appetite, liver and gall bladder ailments, painful menstruation, cystitis and other inflammatory urinary tract conditions, bruising, mouth sores, sore throat, eczema, rheumatism, minor skin disorders, cleansing of the nasal passages, swollen inflamed scrotum, blood purification, problems during childbirth and much more.
It's incredibly safe and the young leaves and flowers can be eaten as a vegetable, either raw in salads and smoothies, or cooked in soups and stews etc. It makes quite a pleasant and nutritious tea too.
Daisy is a refrigerant herb. In other words it’s cooling. Awesome support for those suffering from hyperhidrosis.
It’s not meant to be complicated to be well, nor is it meant to be expensive.
