Teas may be the simplest and often most effective way to extract beneficial organic chemicals from herbs.
Science tells us that herbs contain beneficial organic chemicals and nutrients. This might immediately explain why herbs have been used medicinally for millennia, and why they still prove effective to this day. In fact, humans cannot exist without plants. They are required to fuel us, balance our chemicals, and to provide us with oxygen so we can breathe.
There are many methods for extracting beneficial organic chemicals from herbs. One of the oldest and most used methods is just by steeping in hot water. Yes, just simple “tea”. Afterall, it’s not meant to be complicated to be well.
The body will love you if you drink tea at body temperature. We can only digest at body temperature, so, the body must use energy to heat or cool what we ingest, before we can digest it.
